In September 2016, FOX SPORTS wanted broadcast every NRL Finals match live, without ad breaks during play, and in HD on a dedicated 24/7 Finals pop-up channel. I was briefed to come up with an Idea for a cool PR stunt that will draw attention to this milestone moment.
I ended up pitching the idea of commissioning the renowned Sydney artist Anton Pulvirenti to create 3D pop-up perspective artwork measuring 10-metres long broken TV screen featuring inspirational players from all eight clubs competing in the Final popping out of it.
This mesmerising creation was unveiled this morning at Sydney’s Central Station, drawing significant attention from the bustling crowd of commuters and media during business hours.
